Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol almost a year ago. And we are still no closer to finding out when his case will head to trial.
A hearing scheduled regarding a motion to suppress evidence, which was already postponed once from May to today, has been postponed again until Nov. 1. A trial date could be set as soon as Thursday when a pre-trial hearing is scheduled. But, according to Pro Football Talk, the trial presumably won't start before Dec. 27, when a readiness hearing is scheduled.
Lynch could be subject to a league suspension, but the league won't rule until his trial concludes, whenever that day comes. This matter will likely have no impact on Lynch's season for the second consecutive year. Lynch is ranked as FFToolbox's No. 9 running back.
