Redskins RB Roy Helu is able to cut sharply

After dealing with Achilles tendon soreness in camp, Roy Helu @royhelujr29's 2012 season was ruined by a severe case of turf toe that put him on injured reserve in September. He underwent surgery on the toe in February and appears to be at or near full strength following some setbacks.
Helu was able to take part in some practices during June, and according to Rich Campbell of The Washington Times, Helu was able to cut sharply on his repaired foot by the end of OTAs. Helu is vying to be the Redskins' third-down back.

Fantasy Analysis:

And if Helu is healthy, he should get that gig. He is more talented than Evan Royster @Evan_Royster, and Helu caught 49 passes as a rookie in 2011. But health has always been an issue for him since his days at Nebraska. If Helu makes it out of camp unscathed, he should be a useful cog in the Redskins' offense. I'm not hinting at any Shanahanigans; Alfred Morris @Trey_Deuces is the main ball-carrier, and there's nothing to suggest that he is going be scaled back. Helu's receiving ability might chip into Morris' playing time, but he is still a low-end RB1 or a high-end RB2. Helu is a handcuff or a deep stash for those in PPR leagues.
