For the last time, just so we're clear: Browns running back Trent Richardson expects to be ready when the Browns start training camp next week. Richardson sat out of June minicamp because of a strained muscle in his right shin, but he told Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer on Tuesday that is all history.
"I have no pain at all in the leg,'' Richardson said. "I'll be ready for camp, and I'll be ready to go for the season. ... I'll be full-go right from the get-go and y'all out there will see me flying around."
It sounds like Richardson will make good on his statement from about six weeks ago, and all of this meshes with what we've heard about Richardson's health recently. Richardson is a first-round lock in fantasy drafts because, for one reason, he is going to handle the rock a whole lot in Norv Turner's system.
