Well, if you are going to compare a running back to Marshawn Lynch, you might as well keep setting the bar high. ESPN New York's Rich Cimini wrote Monday the Jets think Chris Ivory could be a top-10 running back as long as he stays healthy. Ivory is slated to be the team's starter after spending three seasons as a reserve in New Orleans.
Ivory's hard running style fits Rex Ryan's old "Ground and Pound philosophy -- is that still a thing? For fantasy, I think top 10 is way too rosy, but top 20 is possible. Ivory is currently being drafted late in the third round or early in the fourth. He's a low-end RB2, but he should get the ball a lot on a team bereft of stars. He will probably be the strongest offense weapon on the Jets. However, Ivory missed the end of the 2010 season and most of 2011 with a foot injury, and he was limited in 2012 by a hamstring strain.
