If you've been reading these posts since the start of camp, you might have noticed that I don't spill a lot of electronic ink on training-camp injuries. There are obvious exceptions -- Maclin, Pitta, Harvin -- but I'd be here all day if I used the same precedent for every player who has found himself a bit hobbled in these first two weeks of camp. However, I'll make an expectation when two top-10 fantasy picks get hurt on the same day. But don't worry too much; both players are fine.
Eagles running back LeSean McCoy missed Monday's practice and spent most of it hanging around the trainer's table, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. He has a knee injury and is considered day-to-day.
Ravens running back Ray Rice had to leave practice today and did not return after he turned an ankle. But head coach John Harbaugh said the injury is not serious.
While there is reason to be concerned about Arian Foster, Chris Ivory, Vincent Brown, etc., these two players should be good to go soon. They are right next to each other in average draft position. I think I would take McCoy right now because the Eagles are going to be so run-heavy this year. But ask me next week, and my opinion might have changed.
