The Giants love utilizing their tight ends in the passing game. Martellus Bennett is a very good talent, but they turned Kevin Boss and Jake Ballard into fantasy-relevant players in recent years. Brandon Myers is a much more natural receiver than those two, and another productive season should be in line after he caught 79 passes for more than 800 yards last year in Oakland. Of course, Myers won't do a whole lot if he isn't on the same page with quarterback Eli Manning, but that's not the case. As Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger put it, Myers "seems to be the perfect fit" for Manning.
"The two have been connecting on some long passes, but during the goal line drill it's easy to see the understanding they've developed already."
Myers is being drafted correctly as a fringe TE1. I wouldn't bet on him catching as many passes as he did in 2012, but his touchdown total should increase from four. Myers is a simple, safe selection.
