Falcons WR Roddy White has low-ankle sprain

Jeremy Maclin, Percy Harvin, Malcom Floyd, Jordy Nelson, Danario Alexander. Wide receivers have been dropping like flies since training camps opened, and many held their breath last night with the possibility that Falcons wideout Roddy White @roddywhiteTV would also need an extended absence. Fortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case.
White turned his ankle in the second quarter of Friday's preseason game and has been diagnosed with a low-ankle sprain. According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, White would be able to play if we were in the regular season.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is good news since low-ankle sprains take mere days to heal. Conversely, the dreaded high-ankle sprain takes weeks. White has played eight seasons in the NFL and has yet to miss a game. He doesn't need many reps in August to be prepared for the season, so don't be surprised if the Falcons play it safe with Roddy. However, he should be fine soon. White is a low-end WR1. He doesn't have the upside of Julio Jones, but White puts up consistently solid numbers.
