The Steelers hope Antonio Brown can be a true No. 1 wide receiver. They need him to be just that with all of the questions facing Pittsburgh's passing offense. The leader of that offense, Ben Roethlisberger, said Friday that Brown is adjusting well to life as the go-to wideout.
"The sky is the limit," Roethlisberger said of Brown. "He can be as good as he wants to be. I have seen growth in him and improvements, and that is what we want to see. He has come along as a number-one guy."
I'm interested to see how Brown produces as the clear "number-one guy" to see how he fares against the opponent's best cornerback every week. He is an extremely quick athlete who is both a deep threat and a dependable mid-range target. A major opportunity is there, and that's why Brown is being drafted in the fifth or sixth round on average.
