Giants WR Victor Cruz not expected to play again in preseason

It sounds like the Giants are putting wide receiver Victor Cruz @TeamVic on the same rehab program that the Chiefs have put on Jamaal Charles. Cruz left Sunday's preseason game against the Colts early in the first quarter due to a heel contusion. It's not a serious injury, but a source has told the Bergen Record's Art Stapleton that you shouldn't expect to see Cruz in any further preseason games.

Fantasy Analysis:

A bruised heel shouldn't take much time to -- ahem -- heal. I wouldn't worry about this situation; it's a team rightfully playing it safe with one of their stud skill players. Cruz remains a stud in fantasy, too. He's a low-end WR1.
