Steelers acquire RB Felix Jones from Eagles

Borrowing from a segment on "Morning Joe," we have a trade to announce that qualifies as news you can't use: The Steelers have acquired RB Felix Jones @felixjones28 from the Eagles for LB Adrien Robinson. Injuries to Le'Veon Bell and Isaac Redman have hampered Pittsburgh's ground options. Enough that the team decided to add the oft-injured Jones.

Fantasy Analysis:

Jones fell to fourth on the Eagles depth chart behind LeSean McCoy, Bryce Brown and Chris Polk. Rather than cut bait, Philadelphia picks up a young LB and one that has local ties having played at Temple. As for the Steelers, if you needed proof about the desperate nature of their RB situation now that Bell is expected to miss several weeks with a foot injury, here you go. Jones is no lock even to make the roster; LaRod Stephens-Howling and Baron Batch are also in play for the final spots behind Bell, Redman and Jonathan Dwyer. Even if Jones sticks in Pittsburgh, fantasy owners should just stay away.
