Packers release QB Vince Young

The Green Bay Packers cut ties with quarterback Vince Young. 2012 sevnth-round QB B.J. Coleman is Green Bay's lone backup quarterback behind QB Aaron Rodgers.

Fantasy Analysis:

Young, the 2006 NFL Draft's third overall pick, finds himself without a team. He failed to make a team in 2012 after being cut in late August by the Buffalo Bills. VY hasn't played a down since 2011, when he appeared in six games with the Philadelphia Eagles.

OK so since when is Seneca Wallace a better QB than Young?? Could Thompson be trying to justify his draft picks of 10-12 years ago?
