Report: Ravens WR Jacoby Jones out 4-6 weeks with sprained right MCL

A source tells Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk that Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones @TheRealJacoby12 suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee during Thursday's loss to the Broncos, and he will miss four-to-six weeks. Jones suffered the injury when a teammate, Brynden Trawick, collided with him as he prepared to field a punt. Jones' right knee hyperextended and he didn't return to the game.

Fantasy Analysis:

Considering how Jones' knee bent, the diagnosis could have been worse. The Ravens' receiving corps gets even thinner, but maybe there is a gleam with Marlon Brown @MB_uno4, about whom you can read a little more here. He was targeted just six times on Thursday, but he ended up as the top fantasy scorer among Ravens wide receivers thanks to a fourth-quarter score. He caught four passes for 65 yards in total. Joe Flacco @TeamFlacco isn't going to have many games with 60 or more attempts, but Brown is the man who needs to step up across from Torrey Smith @TorreySmithWR for as long as Jones is out. He should be picked up in deeper leagues.
