Giants reunite with RB Brandon Jacobs

The Giants still plan for David Wilson @4stillRunning to be their feature back moving forward, but they couldn't move forward with Wilson, Da'Rel Scott @DaRelScott_RB, and Michael Cox as their only backfield options. So they have signed a player very familiar to Giants fans: Brandon Jacobs.
Jacobs, 31, played for New York from 2005-11 and is the franchise's all-time leader in rushing touchdowns. He spent 2012 with the 49ers and rushed for just seven yards in two games.

Fantasy Analysis:

Wilson's owners can fret about Wilson's inability to protect the ball or his psyche after such a poor performance. They don't need to worry about Jacobs. He is purely an add for simple depth. At most, he will steal some goal-line chances until Andre Brown returns, but even that isn't set in stone. Anyone who watched Jacobs during his final year with the Giants or while he was with the Niners knows he has very little gas left in the tank.
