Monday's MRI on Reggie Bush 's injured left knee came back negative, but that doesn't mean he's a sure bet to play Sunday versus the Redskins. According to head coach Jim Schwartz, Bush doesn't have a long-term injury, but apparently it's not short term either.
"I guess it could be medium term," Schwartz said. "It's too hard to speculate on injuries, and that's why I usually don't."
Schwartz added that Bush is "going to be sore." His status for Week 3 is uncertain.
That's two games and four injured body parts that we know of -- knee, hip, groin, thumb -- for Bush. The Lions and Bush's fantasy owners certainly want to see him out there this weekend to take advantage of such a tasty matchup in the Redskins, but Joique Bell would be in RB2 territory in PPR leagues if he is ruled out. Schwartz has never been very forthcoming with injury news during his tenure, so Bush might end up as a game-time decision.
