Giants WR Hakeem Nicks complains about not getting enough targets

After Sunday's 38-0 loss to Carolina, Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks said "I can't throw the ball to myself." It was a reference to Nicks getting just one target during the game -- a target that didn't come until late in the fourth quarter.

Fantasy Analysis:

It's true, but head coach Tom Coughlin wasn't pleased when he heard what Nicks had to say. His fantasy owners, on the other hand, should be very happy. Recent history has shown us that the squeaky wheel gets the grease at wide receiver. Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace @Wallace17_daKid basically said the same thing Nicks said to the press in Week 1; he came back with nine catches, 115 yards and a touchdown in Week 2. Last week, Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown @AntonioBrown84 complained to his offensive coordinator that he wasn't seeing the ball often enough; he put up 196 yards and two touchdows yesterday.
Go ahead and set it in stone: Big numbers are coming from Hakeem Nicks in Week 4 against the Chiefs. Well, only if the Giants' offensive line can protect Eli Manning for a few snaps.

I sure as hell hope so since he's been a waste of a draft pick thus far.

I am holding you guys to this one. I was big on him, but cautious. I took him based on your projections and am paying the price.

Once he recovered from last year....had higher hopes. NY is a mess

I'm taking KC defense as I'm not sure NY will even be ABLE to get the ball to Nicks enough to make him a big value in Week 4.

I took Eli late as a value QB play in an auction draft and so far he's lived up to his $5 sticker price. Seriously considering Tannenhill or Locker this week against KC on the road after the beating he took in Carolina. His O-line is letting the entire team down. 8 sacks? It's like Brett Favre on the 2011 Vikings.
