The Detroit Lions will be without wide receiver Nate Burleson because he will undergo surgery to repair his broken arm. Burleson was injured during a single-car accident. In his place, second-year man WR Ryan Broyles should see a huge jump in playing time opposite WR Calvin Johnson.
Burleson could be out for a month and it's also possible he hits the short-term injured reserve. No official word on that yet. Broyles has also had his fairshare of injury issues, especially with his knees. The Lions may also opt to take some pressure off of RB Reggie Bush and throw it downfield a bit more. Broyles is worth a speculative in deeper formats.
