The Colts have announced that running back Ahmad Bradshaw won't play Sunday against the Jaguars. Bradshaw suffered a neck injury in Week 3 and didn't practice at all this week. It means that Trent Richardson will be the team's bell-cow running back versus Jacksonville.
In other Colts news, wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was spotted wearing a walking boot on Friday, and he skipped the day's practice. However, Hilton is listed as probable on the injury report and is expected to play this weekend. Head coach Chuck Pagano said Hilton's inactivity on Friday was just a choice by the team to "err on the side of caution."
Richardson is now a low-end RB1 this week. He is going to see at least 20 touches against a pathetic defense. You should expect a huge game from him.
Although Hilton is going to play, I can't endorse him as strongly as I would like to with such a good matchup on the horizon. Hilton played through a groin injury last week, and now there is something wrong with his foot. Much like in Week 3, his snaps may be limited on Sunday. He's nothing more than a WR3.
