Feel free to pat yourself on the back if you had Week 4 in your Darren McFadden injury pool. McFadden suffered a hamstring injury during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Redskins. He tried to loosen the muscle up by riding an exercise bike during the game, but it was of no use. He was later ruled out in the second half and watched the rest of the contest in street clothes. He gained 29 yards on five carries.
Making matters worse is that Marcel Reece suffered a knee injury. Rashad Jennings touched the ball 23 times with McFadden out, and he gained 116 yards from scrimmage. Jennings, a former Maurice Jones-Drew backup in Jacksonville, hasn't been very successful as a runner when given a large opportunity, but he makes up for it with skills in the passing game. He caught eight passes today. He would be in line for 20 or more chances next week if McFadden and Reece can't play versus the Chargers.
