ESPN's Ed Werder tweeted that the Tennessee Titans now know that quarterback Jake Locker should return in four to six weeks from his hip and knee injuries. This is a drop from the previous outlook of four to eight weeks. Ryan Fitzpatrick remains the starter until Locker's return.
The former Washington Huskies signal-caller was playing very well before his injury. The risk of a quarterback controversy is almost nil. Locker led Tennessee to a 3-1 record and he was ranked around QB14 in fantasy leagues, depending on the scoring system. Fitzpatrick will need to keep defenses honest with the passing game and not rely too heavily on Chris Johnson . It should be an interesting few games to watch to see if the Titans and maintain a winning record.
