Patriots are 'highly optimistic' WR Danny Amendola will play Sunday

Although tight end Rob Gronkowski appears likely to miss yet another game, the Patriots think they will get at least one of their leading receivers back from injury this week. According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, the Patriots "remain highly optimistic" that wide receiver Danny Amendola @DannyAmendola will play Sunday against the Bengals. Amendola hasn't played since Week 1 due to torn adductor muscles, but he practiced on a limited basis all week, and the reports on how he has looked in practice have been encouraging.

Fantasy Analysis:

If Amendola plays -- and we'll know for certain on Sunday morning -- I think he is worth WR2 consideration in PPR leagues. The Bengals have a good defense and are playing at home, but I think the targets will be there for Amendola, regardless. His return is bad news Julian Edelman @Edelman11's fantasy value.

Waited so long between Amendola and Sissy Gronk, who looks physically fit in facebook. Lost lot of respect due to all the MEDIA LIES upon both their return. Brady and team struggled to get to 4-0, was not pretty. The team needs help. Would not be surprized if "Belichek" benches Gronk next week or whenever!!!!!!!!!
