Bears WR Brandon Marshall piles on praise for WR Alshon Jeffery after team-record performance

Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery @TheJefferyShow broke a team-record Sunday by collecting 218 receiving yards in a single game. Those yards came on 10 receptions and he added a touchdown. In his last two games, Jeffery has 15 receptions for 325 yards and two TDs. Fellow teammate WR Brandon Marshall @BMarshall said after the game that the second-year receiver "could be the best to ever do it."

Fantasy Analysis:

Whoa there, Marshall. Let's not get carried away. Some praise is all well and good, but that's a bit much. If defenses do pay more attention to Jeffery though, that can only benefit Marshall, who likely sees as many double-teams as any receiver in the league. Jeffery is a great fantasy play, rising into potential WR2 territory. His nine targets per game average certainly helps his cause tremendously.

Who knew that Marshall could be so magnanimous. Most of todays elite athletes stick to pimping their own ride. Kudos Brandon. The extra fire-power in Chicago is impressive but what happened to that vaunted D ???

It's amazing how we'll cutler is playing. Oh wait he finally cares a little bit, it's a contract year. Alshon should be owned in every league. I picked him up in a league last week s before the frenzy for him this week

Jeffery will be a strong low end WR 2 going forward with potential to do better than that. He can shred single coverage.
