Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery broke a team-record Sunday by collecting 218 receiving yards in a single game. Those yards came on 10 receptions and he added a touchdown. In his last two games, Jeffery has 15 receptions for 325 yards and two TDs. Fellow teammate WR Brandon Marshall said after the game that the second-year receiver "could be the best to ever do it."
Whoa there, Marshall. Let's not get carried away. Some praise is all well and good, but that's a bit much. If defenses do pay more attention to Jeffery though, that can only benefit Marshall, who likely sees as many double-teams as any receiver in the league. Jeffery is a great fantasy play, rising into potential WR2 territory. His nine targets per game average certainly helps his cause tremendously.
