Even without teammate Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles participated in just 29-of-68 offensive snaps. On two-WR sets, Patrick Edwards and Kris Durham were the primary receivers, leaving Broyles in the slot.
The oft-referenced-by-fantasy-experts Broyles continues to disappoint and have zero fantasy impact. The Lions were already without WR Nate Burleson and in his last two contests, Broyles has tallied just two receptions for 27 yards. Broyles is an absolute afterthought in Detroit's offense and has no business being touted as a potential sleeper until he sees an expanded and more consistent role.
