Among the many injured New England Patriots, at least one could be back this week. Running back Stevan Ridley was seen at practice Wednesday after missing all of last week with thigh and knee injuries. The third-year back did not play last week against Cincinnati.
Ridley has underwhelmed thus far, rushing for just 3.7 yards per rush on 47 carries. That early fumble back in Week 1 didn't help matters, but neither has his inability to move the chains. The Pats' offense struggled mightily last week as Tom Brady failed to throw a touchdown pass for the first time in years. Ridley's return though may not equal fantasy success. New England has relied heavily on both Brandon Bolden and LeGarrette Blount in recent weeks to split the load. It may be best to see how the team divvies out touches and responsibilities before committing to any of the aforementioned backs.
