Texans TE Owen Daniels on short-term IR, out at least eight weeks

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels @owendaniels' 2013 season is certainly at-risk now. The team placed the eight-year TE on injured reserve with a short-term designation. This means Daniels must sit for the next eight weeks, making his earliest possible return Week 14. At that time, Houston will travel to Jacksonville for Thursday Night Football.

Fantasy Analysis:

Daniels missed about half a season back in 2009. At that time he was coming off a breakout year and expectations were very high for him as one of the next great tight ends. In his last three seasons, Daniels really built up a lot of trust with fantasy owners as a solid low-end TE1 or backup. This injury comes at an awful time when he was ranked around the No. 10 TE in the league. Garrett Graham @gra89ham should be added in most league formats.
