Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson left last week's game with a back injury. Luckily for him, the injury was not too serious for his short-term. He did not practice Wednesday as he continues to rest his lumbar strain.
It's not everyday you hear of a lumbar strain injury. In any case, Johnson should still be considered a decent WR2 when he returns. Rookie WR Robert Woods has more than held his own (which also has taken away some production from Johnson) and the Bills be relying on a bit of an unknown at quarterback makes Johnson a matchup-only option. In Week 6, Buffalo hosts Cincinnati who recently shut down the Pats' aerial attack. If he returns for that game, sit him and find another option unless you're in serious need of his services.
