Lions WR Calvin Johnson expected to rest, miss practice all week

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson will miss every practice this week as he continues to recover from his knee injury. There is swelling in the knee and he needs to stay off of it in order to improve.

Fantasy Analysis:

This kills some of the suspense leading into each day. Since he won't be able to get on his two feet and run around for a couple days, this delays anybody knowing whether he can play this weekend. If Johnson suits up and hits the field, as stated in previous updates, he has to be in your starting lineup. There's no situation where he is active and not starting. We'll see where he's at in a few more days as a game-time decision.
