New York Jets running back Mike Goodson 's 2013 season made headlines for all the wrong reasons. There were serious off-the-field issues during the offseason. Next came a four-game suspension to begin the season for violating the league's drug policies. And now, finally and unfortunately, his season has been cut short with an ACL and MCL tear.
Goodson contributed seven carries for 61 yards in two games this year. Quite an impressive 8.7 yards per carry average, but it's all for nothing with this season-ending injury. With him sidelined, Chris Ivory should be back in the mix more often as the team's No. 2 back. Goodson could have even challenged Bilal Powell for some starting snaps, but this knee injury puts any further competition on hold until next offseason.
