Packers wide receiver James Jones missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday. And head coach Mike McCarthy wouldn't make any promises that Jones will be available for Friday's practice either.
Via ESPN's Rob Demovsky, McCarthy said, "We'll see," when asked if Jones will practice tomorrow. "It's going to be close."
Jones has a sprained PCL in his right knee.
At this point, Jones looks extremely questionable for Sunday's game versus the Browns. And this is all setting up pretty nicely for wide receiver Jarrett Boykin . Aaron Rodgers is going to need someone to throw to, and with Jones possibly out, Randall Cobb definitely out, and Jordy Nelson having to deal with cornerback Joe Haden , Boykin has a big opportunity in front of him. He has all of six catches in his two-year career, but he's worth flex/WR3 consideration.
