Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones did not practice Friday. This makes three straight days where the seven-year vet was unable to participate due to a lingering knee injury. This sprained PCL injury will likely force him to miss Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens.
As noted in an earlier news item, Jones wasn't expected to practice much this week and that's what has happened. In his place, second-year WR Jarrett Boykin will see a big bump to his playing time. Jones joins Randall Cobb on the inactive list and it'll be interesting to see what kind of gameplan the Pack implements with such a depleted receiving corps. Jordy Nelson is the one player who can be expected to enjoy a serious boost in fantasy points.
