Due to a lingering hamstring injury, New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs is questionable for Monday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Jacobs was unable to practice Saturday after two limited practices Thursday and Friday. It was also reported that Jacobs suffered a setback and if he can't play, the Giants will have to fall back on the recently signed Peyton Hillis and/or Michael Cox.
Jacobs was out of football for a reason. The Giants are a trainwreck at running back and really, their porous offensive line isn't doing this backfield any favors. Jacobs probably shouldn't be in your starting lineups even if he's ready to play. The Vikings aren't exactly a tough matchup, but the 31-year-old is obviously lacking tread on his tires. If you have a second or even a third option, go in that direction.
