Houston Texans running back Arian Foster re-aggravated a hamstring pull Sunday. There aren't any indictions it is serious, and Foster believes he could be ready after the Texans' Week 8 bye. The 27-year-old back was limited to just four carries for 11 yards against the Chiefs. Backup Ben Tate didn't offer much either, rushing for 50 yards on 15 carries as he continues to battle a rib injury.
The guy to own here might be undrafted free agent rookie Cierre Wood. The former Notre Dame runner sealed the No. 3 RB job over the summer and has played very little since then. With Case Keenum starring at quarterback, Wood getting significant touches in the immediate short-term isn't out of the question. As for Foster and Tate, you'll have to monitor their statuses leading up to Week 9. Tate should be good-to-go and Foster might need some extra rest. We'll have to wait and see.
