The Philadelphia Eagles will start quarterback Michael Vick in Week 8 against the New York Giants. QB Nick Foles was diagnosed with a concussion and will be unable to play. Vick is still nursing an injured hamstring so there's an outside chance he could suffer a setback during the week; however, multiple reports have confirmed Vick's starting status for Sunday.
Don't sell those Nick Foles rookie cards just yet. It's possible Vick has a bad week and pushes Foles back into the starting lineup. On the other hand, it's also possible Vick has a huge game and secures his old job. The odd man out is of course Matt Barkley and his name isn't even in the discussion. Vick is a low QB1 against the just-won-but-still-pretty-bad Giants. The only risk with Vick, like usual, is the risk of re-injury.
