Falcons wide receiver Roddy White had time to heal his hamstring and knee injuries over the team's Week 6 bye. It wasn't enough as he was held out of Week 7's win over the Buccaneers. And perhaps that second week off wasn't enough either. White, who hasn't practiced since Oct. 4, didn't practice Wednesday.
It's common for players who are even the slightest nicked up to rest on Wednesdays. But considering how much idle time White has accrued over the past three weeks, his absence is a bad omen. Harry Douglas put 149 yards and a score with White inactive last week and would remain the team's No. 1 wideout against Arizona if White needs yet another week.
