Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin did not practice Thursday as he continues to rest his hamstring injury. Running back DeMarco Murray did practice and reports are floating around that suggest he will be ready to play in Week 8 against Detroit. Murray is trying to overcome a sprained MCL.
Austin did manage to play last week, but did not play like he was 100-percent since he didn't even register a catch. The Cowboys backfield is extremely unclear right now due to the great game from Joseph Randle , the return of Lance Dunbar and the presence of Phillip Tanner . Murray is the obvious starter if he's healthy, but Dallas might be inclined to spread around some touches in order to protect Murray from injury. If Austin is out, Terrance Williams is a low WR2 or high WR3 and should be starting in all league formats.
