Vikings head coach postpones naming QB starter for Week 9

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier refused to publicly announce a starting QB for Week 9's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Josh Freeman @JF5x had to sit last week because of a concussion. Christian Ponder @cponder7, who's already been benched once, didn't accomplish much in his start versus Green Bay on Sunday. The former Florida State QB completed 14-of-21 passes for 145 yards with no TDs and no INTs.

Fantasy Analysis:

Hard to blame Frazier for holding off on a decision. They'll probably want to watch some game film and run a practice or two to determine who gives them the best chance to win. Easier said than done when choosing between Freeman, Ponder and Matt Cassel. Minnesota will certainly need to go back to the drawing board in the 2014 NFL Draft and possibly select a QB in the early rounds despite many other pressing needs.

What a Nightmare for Vikings fans. Not exactly how they wanted to Blow-up the Dome.
