The Philadelphia Eagles will be without quarterback Michael Vick in Week 9 after he re-aggravated his hamstring injury. QBs Nick Foles and Matt Barkley will split practice snaps this week and Foles is expected to be the starter barring a setback. He has already passed concussion tests and cleared for practice. Barkely was more miss than hit last week after turning the ball over twice.
Before his injury against Dallas, Foles showed some promise in two wins against the Giants and Bucs. He still hasn't thrown an INT over 90 pass attempts. Foles looks like a high QB2 against Oakland in Week 9. As for Vick, it may be best to avoid him regardless of health. He just can't put it together between health and consistent offensive production. The real question is who the Eagles want to move forward with as their "quarterback of the future" but they have eight more games to figure that out.
