The St. Louis Rams will likely be without the services of running back Zac Stacy this week as he recovers from an ankle sprain. The rookie back was unable to practice Wednesday. Stacy injured the ankle during the Rams' loss to the Seattle Seahawks during Monday Night Football. Stacy has 344 yards on 75 carries (4.6 ypc) since taking over in Week 5.
The Rams finally got a 100-yard game from Stacy and take note, that came against Seattle. No easy task. Just like that, he's injured and could miss their Week 9 game against Tennessee. If Stacy is unable to play, Daryl Richardson will tote the rock. Fantasy owners should pick him up if they're in serious need of a replacement starter although expectations should be low considering Richardson's unimpressive start to this season.
