Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White did not practice Wednesday and head coach Mike Smith told reporters it is still too early to decide whether the nine-year vet will be ready to play in Week 9 against Carolina. White has not played since Week 5 due to a high ankle sprain. Atlanta will continue to use WRs Harry Douglas and Drew Davis during White's absence.
White probably could've been fully healthy by now if he chose to not play on his injured ankle. With the Falcons' WR corps depleted, the offense has done well to maintain a healthy passing attack. The problems continue to revolve their dead-last rushing totals (62.4 rushing yards per game). Once White comes back, he should be a starter for your fantasy squad while Douglas should be reduced to a flex play.
