Those looking for Darren Sproles to rebound on Sunday after his Week 8 goose egg saw their hopes dashed after only three plays. Sproles was hit by Jets defenders David Harris and Antonio Allen after catching a 2-yard pass and came up with a concussion. He was obviously ruled out for the rest of the game after that lone touch.
It's been a brutal road for Sproles' owners the past few weeks, but especially in the last two games. He'll have a week to pass his concussion tests and be cleared to face the Cowboys in Week 10. He still possesses some PPR value, but his standard-league stock has pretty much been in the toilet since Week 4. There's nothing I can say to make you feel better about Sproles; he's been a massive disappointment for most of the season. Just hope he gets well soon. Khiry Robinson, who was a healthy scratch today, would likely be active along with Mark Ingram and lead runner Pierre Thomas next week if Sproles has to miss further game action.
