Bills running back C.J. Spiller probably won't be receiving a vomit-inducing number of carries this Sunday against the Steelers. But he should see more than he's been getting the past two months. Spiller is not on the team's injury report for the first time since Week 3, and head coach Doug Marrone said Wednesday that he's "excited" to give Spiller more touches. Spiller has been bothered by an ankle injury since late September, but Marrone said that injury is now a thing of the past.
Spiller got 14 touches in last week's game versus Kansas City, his most since Week 4. He turned them into 155 yards from scrimmage. Now come the Steelers, who have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs this season. It's perfectly understandable to be wary of putting this injury-prone player in your lineup after he gave you pretty much nothing but headaches in October. But in Week 9, Spiller appeared to be as healthy as he has been in a while. As of Wednesday night, He is FFToolbox's No. 10 RB this week for good reason.
