Colts RB Trent Richardson back at practice

Colts RB Trent Richardson back at practice

Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson returned to practice Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. It is possible the second-year back injured his ankle in Week 9, but there were no reports or indicators in that game he was hurt. After a couple days off, Richardson is expected to play in Week 10 against the St. Louis Rams.

Fantasy Analysis:

Richardson hasn't done much all year. He only has two rushing TDs and his season-best rushing total in a single game has been just 60 yards. After his trade to the Colts, the general consensus was Richardson would run better behind his new offensive line yet that has certainly not been the case. It's been more of the same and T-Rich has been unable to improve much, if at all, on his yards per carry average which now sits at 3.1 on 114 carries. Richardson is a flex-only play and that's only when the matchup is right and it is this week against a very poor Rams' run defense.

Richardson and Mathews both stink. Lamar Miller for sure as he is ascending.
