Buccaneers plan to go with RB timeshare moving forward

With Doug Martin @DougMartin22 already ruled out for the season, and Mike James perhaps also landing on injured reserve very soon, the Buccaneers are down to their third- and fourth-string running backs, Brian Leonard @Brian40Leonard and Bobby Rainey @BobbyRainey. Leonard was the clear leader against the Dolphins, out-touching Rainey 22-9. But head coach Greg Schiano said after his team's first win Monday that the two runners will likely split carries for a while.
"That's probably how we'll have to go -- ham and egging with those two guys and see what we can do," Schiano said."

Fantasy Analysis:

The Bucs have a favorable ground-game matchup at home against a Falcons team that has allowed the fifth-most rushing yards to RBs this season. If you are looking to pick up Leonard or Rainey, know that each would only be a spotty flex option this week. I'd take Rainey if I had to choose one, because he has much more big-play ability and notched a goal-line touchdown last night. Leonard is a more natural third-down back. He's not built for a lot of carries, as evidenced by his 2.9 yards per carry average versus the Dolphins. Rainey averaged 5.6.
