Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin was able to return to practice Wednesday as he continues to rehab his lingering hamstring injury. The 29-year-old receiver has not played since Oct. 20, a Week 7 win over Philadelphia. In that time, teammate Terrance Williams has struggled to put together consistent work. Williams has just five receptions in his last three games and could fall back on the depth chart with Austin's return.
It'll be interesting to see what the Cowboys want to do. Williams has played well at times, but seems to be struggling as of late. It may be good for him to be No. 3 in the pecking order. Austin can line up anywhere to create mismatches and Williams may be struggling to play at that level. Austin should continue to practice into Week 12 and at least be a game-time decision by Dallas' next game.
