Lions stay patient with WR Nate Burleson and WR Calvin Johnson takes day off

The Detroit Lions will give wide receiver Nate Burleson @Nate13Burleson at least one more week to rest his arm. He practiced a bit last week, but are willing to play it safe with his still healing fractured forearm. WR Calvin Johnson did not practice Thursday, but there is no information out that would suggest he will not play or anything about a possible injury.

Fantasy Analysis:

Johnson is a must-start as long as he has a pulse and is on the field. There shouldn't be much conern there. As for Burleson, he's obviously not that important to the team in the grand scheme of things as long as Megatron is healthy. Kris Durham @KrisDurham16 is improving little-by-little every week. The Lions are right in the thick of a playoff race and it's more important for Burleson to be ready in the final few games as opposed to rushing him back unnecessarily.
