As expected, Peyton Manning's absence from the practice field was a short one. Manning returned to limited practice on Thursday after taking a day off to rest his recently aggravated high-ankle sprain. He will start against the Chiefs on Sunday night.
Manning admitted that his ankle was sore following Sunday's win over the Chargers, but after his Monday MRI didn't reveal anything significant, there was no doubt that he would be playing as usual in Week 11. Expect Manning to go through another limited practice on Friday, but he is an easy top-five fantasy quarterback this week. The Chiefs' defense has been beaten for big plays down the field by Jason Campbell, Case Keenum , and Jeff Tuel in recent weeks.
