Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson missed all practices, and his head coach said Thursday that he didn't feel good about Johnson's chances of playing this week, so to no one's surprise, Johnson won't play against the Jets. He will be held out because of his groin injury. Since Robert Woods has already been ruled out for this game, wide receivers T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin are expected to see major upticks in playing time.
This game could be an all-around mess for Buffalo's offense. The Bills want to run the ball, but stopping the run is the strength of the Jets' defense. They have allowed just 588 yards on the ground to running backs all season. Now the Jets have even more cause to stack the box. E.J. Manuel , who looked awful last week versus Pittsburgh, doesn't have a reliable target on the outside. Also, plenty of rain and wind are expected Sunday in Buffalo. I would try to avoid Bills wherever possible this week. Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller are just flex options.
