With Oakland Raiders running back Rashad Jennings playing so well, the team is considering the use of RB Darren McFadden as a change-of-pace runner if he's available Thursday to play. The Raiders travel to Dallas on Thanksgiving. McFadden is currently practicing this week and it looks as though he should return. Jennings has 413 rushing yards and two TDs in his last four games, in addition to 15 receptions for 140 yards. Oakland could have a formidable backfield if both backs are fully healthy. Jennings is listed as probable with a minor shoulder stinger following Sunday's loss to Tennessee.
Jennings is obviously the back to own here, particularly in PPR formats. He is producing consistent numbers as a high RB2 over the last month. Jennings never seemed to provide much behind Jacksonville's offensive line in years past, even when Maurice Jones-Drew was hurt. There is a lot to like though about his game, especially now that his health has not been a problem. McFadden should probably stay on your bench unless you're desperate for a starter. There's no telling how large (or small) his role might be this week.
