Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed was limited during Wednesday's practice as he continues to recover from a concussion. The rookie was unable to go this past Monday night against the 49ers after sustaining his concussion back in Week 11. He is expected to make his return in Week 13 against the New York Giants, despite being listed as questionable at this time.
Since earning more playing time earlier in the season, Reed has become a legit TE1. Before his injury, Reed was averaging 9.3 targets per game in his previous four games. The Redskins certainly need him back in the lineup. They've lost four of their last five and the team even came out to reporters recently to announce they plan on sticking with Robert Griffin III as their starter. With five games left on the schedule, Reed should be considered a TE1 in any week that he plays.
