Vikings RBs Adrian Peterson, Toby Gerhart both questionable for Sunday

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson @AdrianPeterson is technically considered 50-50 for Sunday's game versus the Eagles, but that's actually an encouraging sign. Earlier this week, the team didn't seem optimistic on Peterson's chances of playing after suffering a sprained right foot in the previous game. Now, head coach Leslie Frazier's tune has changed for the better. He said that Peterson was able to plant and burst off of his injured foot.
"It was impressive when you consider the early diagnosis," Frazier said of Peterson. "He's unique. Very unique. He's so different than everybody else when it comes to recovering from injuries. We've been in situations in the past where you thought he wouldn't make it and he made it. So it was always in the back of my mind the chance he would make it. He's amazing."
Backup running back Toby Gerhart is also listed as questionable because of a hamstring injury. He, like Peterson, went through light practice Friday.

Fantasy Analysis:

Peterson said he still feels pain in his foot, but added "it's at the point where you have to suck some of the pain up." Frazier said he hopes to make a firm decision on Peterson's game status by Saturday after seeing how his foot responds to Friday's workout. We might have another update on this story tomorrow, but Peterson's owners should feel fairly comfortable that their man will suit up this weekend.
